Childhood Ambitions
HoratioFellatio writes:
"At the tender age of 13, my little hairless clockweights squirted their first dose of testosterone into my blood stream. The result was a mental alarm clock shouting, 'I NEED TO LOOK AT GIRL'S FANNIES.' I reasoned that if I became a Gynaecologist, I'd get to look at fannies all day.
"It was only when I reached the age of about 16 and learnt about STD's and yeast infections that I realised I'd only ever get to see diseased ones."
Tell us about your childhood career ambitions and the moment at which your aspirations crumbled into a pile of broken dreams.

I did my childhood ambition for a degree!
At the tender age of 14, I though 'Hmm I like biology and chemistry, so for a degree I'll combine them and do biochemistry'.
When it got to A-levels I suddenly discoved that chemistry is a lot harder than I thought, and I didnt think I liked it anymore.
But did I think 'I'll do Biology instead'? No, I fecking still applied for Biochemistry!
I'm in my final year now, and although I was going to change to biology in my second year I didn't because I was too scared of the man in charge of changing your degree!
I perspective, its not actually that bad, any chemistry we d do is organic (which I did well at in college and really enjoyed) and generally we don't do much anyway.
Still wish I'd done Biology, mainly because they have more choice over what options to take.
Oh and there was the time that my Dad suddenly decided I should become a vet, I like animals but having to treat psychotic dogs is NOT my ideal career, plus I'm scared of needles.
