Christmas period.
My wife just started one, thoroughly fucking up my plans for a white Christmas. Mind you, its not as bad as the honeymoon period. That really put a damper on the whole thing.

My dad once felt it necessary to tell me how my mother's menstrual cycle ruined their honeymoon.
Can't honestly say I was thankful, but it probably wasn't as bad as when he told me all about my conception.
