My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

fliddish cutlery holdingYeh. The missus holds her cutlery like a real spaz. It has bothered me since day one, but with some deep breathing and frequent trips to my 'happy place' I can just about endure every meal time. Turns out she gets it from her father; I have tried to emulate the way she holds the things and its just alien. Thing is they (less so her, more so the parents and her brother who would have featured in last week's QOTW had I some time) think they are a cut or two above most people (wrong).
