This is a question Common

Freddy Woo writes, "My wife thinks calling the front room a lounge is common. Worse, a friend of hers recently admonished her daughter for calling a toilet, a toilet. Lavatory darling. It's lavatory."

My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

What stuff do you think is common?

I'm watching

a Jeremy Kyle double bill on ITV 2.

That is all.

I sometimes do this
purely for the feeling of

"My life is so very normal. My children are so well brought up. They know who their father is, in fact, they both have the same one! Neither of their parents sleeps around/does drugs/beats up the other parent/has random children scattered around the local Council estates."

*shrugs*

JK proves that as my old granny used to say,

"There's always someone worse off than you."

I can watch
about 2 minutes of shows like that before getting angry.

then very angry.

then mad enough to kill.

That's the reason I watch it!
I read Take a Break for the same reason.

No matter how bad things are for me, I'm not one of them.

Maybe she should have said,
"Cheer up, at least you're not that trowel-faced mong Jeremy Kyle".

I watched
Countdown and Deal or No Deal everyday for three months in 2006 when I was off work.

Looking back, I think I may have been depressed...

I cant watch it for more than a moment or two
Whilst half of my family are charming, witty, intelligent, discerning, responsible members of society, the other half are reality tv and soap opera watching, ugg boot and tracksuit wearing dole-scroungers, junkies, single mothers and waterhead-baby machines.

I dread to think what my personal DNA might produce so I have decided it's best not to find out.

Get off my stage!!!!
Sorry

I hate to ask
But does watching JK make you common?
(, Wed 22 Oct 2008, 16:32, closed)
What about being in it?
Most of my GF's siblings starred in "Lie detect my whole family and tell me who stole my Jewelry". It wasn't her, she's not that common.
