This is a question Complaining

I like writing letters of complaint to companies containing the words "premier league muppetry", if only to give the poor office workers a good laugh on an otherwise dull day. Have you ever complained? Did it work?

When I was starting to keep fish as a wee young'un, a fairly unscrupulous fish shop sold me a fresh-water crayfish, claiming it was perfectly fine to keep in a community tank. First night, it caught both my angel fish via the handy dangly down bits, then climbed into the breeding trap and eviscerated a gravid guppy. Apparently, the fish shop had lied to me.

This just isn't
the right plaice to complain.

Aye
With some fish shops you might as well plaice your sole in the trust of cod.

A lot of shops are just out there for the profit unfortunately
mainly the ones in garden centres (that are owned buy the GC, not the aquatic retailer) and Stapeley 'We don't give a shit what you buy of us as long as we make some money' water gardens.

And crayfish are a prime example of bad sellers, also if you see any in a shop with more than 1 per tank, walk straight out again, they haven't got a clue.

Same applies to Dyed/painted fish: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Painted_fish
