This is a question Complaining

I like writing letters of complaint to companies containing the words "premier league muppetry", if only to give the poor office workers a good laugh on an otherwise dull day. Have you ever complained? Did it work?

Thats a nice story and all
but they shouldn't of fucked it up in the first place.

If you never live outside of the UK you'll never know what good service is like. Mind you I lived in Japan and that level of service was full on OCD. It also has it's bad point; but that's another thing.

Why?
people make mistakes. Unless you're going to tell me you've never made a mistake in your life?

And good service doesn't preclude fuck-ups. Good service is how you DEAL with fuck-ups, which is the point of the post.

People do make mistakes. You didn't describe a mistake.
anyone of these things on its own is a mistake.

1) put together terribly, 2) paint chipped and scuffed, 3) brakes not properly attached, 4) Stabilisers were on the wonk.

But they would have sent you off with a dangerous item for your child to sit on. In decent service land it wouldn't even have made it to the shop floor. Your story is more about how low standards/expectations are on both sides of the counter.
