This is a question The B3TA Confessional

With the Pope about to visit the UK, what better time to unburden yourself of anything that's weighing on your mind by posting it on the internet? Pay particular attention to the Seven Deadly Sins of lust, greed, envy, pride, posting puns on the QOTW board and the other ones. Top story gets to kneel before His Holiness's noodly appendage, or something

I own a Prefab Sprout album...
...damn. I feel better for saying that out loud.

Prefab Sprout are one of the best and most under-rated bands to come out of the UK in the last thirty years, and Paddy McAloon is "one of the greatest songwriters of his era" (Allmusic.com). 'Steve McQueen' in particular has featured on several all-time "best of" lists and is generally regarded as one of the classic albums of the eighties.

So if that's really the most embarrassing album you own, I think you have little to worry about...

Don't worry about it.
I own a copy of a Roxette best of album.

And I fucking love it.

I wondered who did that track.

Very catchy, reminds me of a hot summer during the nineties, when hosepipe bans still existed..

That's
not a confession....it's a boast!

I have the whole album
on my Ipod, and still listen to it.

Music is like that though. I have very strong associations between music and events. From Langley park to Memphis was the soundtrack to the year I got my first car (a spiffy blue Fiesta Xr2), and had a humdinger of a summer.

There are a few others like that too. Red Hot Chilli Peppers' - Mothers milk, another good year. Alanis Morrisette Jagged little pill . . .

What scares me is how old these albums are now. Where did that 25 years disappear to?
