I made a jug of Sangria with a bottle of Chateau d'Yquem and Aldi diet lemonade. Meant to use the Baron St Jean originally, but then discovered that him indoors had used my Hendricks to light the barbie.

The only thing I really understood in this was "Aldi diet lemonade", which struck me as a bit povo.

No drink needs carbonated tap water, citric acid and saccharin. There's not a lot of point using "diet" stuff when mixing with alcohol either -- there are far more calories in the alcohol and the sugar helps you break it down.
