Never wash mushroomsIt kills the flavour.
You can always brush them clean with a basting brush instead.

top tip there. I actually have a mushroom brush but i wasn't sure others would hence the just wash em and get the muck off advice.
Doesn't kill the flavour as much as a bit of shite does!

Complete twaddle. How can water kill the flavour of a mushroom?What ruins the flavour of his mushrooms is serving them with a fucking egg cup of fucking Daz-coloured jar mayo and being too fucking lazy even to mash some garlic.
