This is a question Creepy!

Smash Monkey asks: "what's the creepiest thing you've seen, heard or felt? What has sent shivers running up your spine and skidmarks running up your undercrackers? Tell us, we'll make it all better"

Oh I don't care what goes on inside their infantile little heads.
But when they drool their semi-coherent opinions on a public messageboard then I feel free to respond. Sorry if you think that's unreasonable. I should probably be banned.

It would seem that you do in fact care what goes on in their minds, as you said that you were creeped out by them. Apparently their opinions upset you.

I happen to agree with the OP that it's creepy to continue breast feeding for an extended time, but mostly because it's encouraging a child to continue infantile behavior. The health benefits of breast feeding are pretty well diminished by that point- the kid has a working immune system by then, and is getting nutrients from other sources- so continuing to feed past the infant stage is pointless other than to fulfill some sort of need on the mother's part. I would equate it to encouraging a kid to use baby talk at home. Harmful to the kid? That would be hard to prove. Uncomfortable for those who have to witness it? Definitely. Just as much as if they were publicly picking their nose and eating the yield.

Is that a better formed thought? Does it meet with your approval?

As for the last bit- no, I don't think you should be banned, but I do think you need a little perspective and far better trolling skills. This was a rather lame attempt at a swipe, frankly, and didn't contribute anything to the QOTW other than a bit of attention seeking. Boring.

'The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that "Breastfeeding should be continued for at least the first year of life and beyond for as long as mutually desired by mother and child... Increased duration of breastfeeding confers significant health and developmental benefits for the child and the mother... There is no upper limit to the duration of breastfeeding and no evidence of psychologic or developmental harm from breastfeeding into the third year of life or longer." (AAP 2005)'

Also, it reduces the chance of getting pregnant
which makes the WHO doubly keen to advocate its prolonged use.

I genuinely can't be arsed dragging myself down five intellectual levels to explain to dullwitted yet sanctimonious internet wobblers why they are wrong.
It's not as though he will even have the dignity or the maturity to accept that he's an idiot even when he has the reasons presented to him in the tiny teeny morsels that his cretinous brain can digest. Might as well let the poor prick think he's made a constructive point and then return to rutting weepily into his sofa. It's not as if sex or children are anything that are ever going to affect his life, is it? If he does manage to retch his seed into some poor twat then the mong offspring will raise itself feral in the council bins or be snatched away by social services.
