Dissapointing really
Sad story. But if I had the ability to contact the dead and lost a loved one. I'd like to be able to say hello to them still by using my medium powers.

So yeah, either he tried and couldnt do it. Which left him sad. Or he's a fraud. If she had died in a freak accident. Then she probably wouldnt have had such closure as an old person dieing of old age. Therefore, according to the spirituality stuff. She should have been in a lower astral plane more suseptable (cant spell that one) to communication through mediums etc.

Well clearly he's a fraud
the question is whether he realises that or not. I got the impression that he believed what he did was real, and he obviously felt like he was helping people. It's not like he's made a load of money out of it. He's just deluded I suppose. And yes he must have realised the truth of this when he couldn't 'talk' to his daughter, or couldn't even bring himself to try.
