"Are you my mummy?"
Gas Masks. There was always something sinister about them. Every time we got told about them in school. I'd always get that tingly feeling on the back of my neck, and seeing them at Duxford Air Museum....well. I very nearly ran myself back to Cambridge.

Of course, after leaving school for a bit. You tend to forget about them. Then some bright spark decides to make them as a creepy little kid in a sci-fi show. And scares me half to death again. (Although it's a great episode....and series.)

The Weeping Angels. Didn't really click with me til the end of Blink.
When it shows you all those statues everywhere. The empty child had me scared from the start.

when larry turns away for a second
and turns back to see the angel snarling at him with its mouth open, i jumped and a bit of wee nearly came out.

Silence in the Library
2 part episode does it for me. Those empty suits, the ghosting personality chips, being picked clean in seconds, the alt reality, all of it. Plus first appearance of River Song, who I think is great!

I get a tingly feeling when I see one too,
well, when Mistress has put a couple of drops of poppers inside before she puts it on me.

oh yes
I was never really a Dr Who fan until the new stuff started
Gas mask and weeping angels definitely very creepy

When I was a kid, the show didnt scare me but the opening credits did, there was something about those wavy black and white lines and the eerie music that really upset me, mum used to laugh that i hid and covered my ears until they were over then happily sat and watched the rest of the show
