Cringe!
Chickenlady winces, "I told a Hugh Grant/Divine Brown joke to my dad, pretending that Ms Brown was chewing gum so she'd be more American. Instead I just appeared to be still giving the blow-job. Even as I'm writing this I'm cringing inside."

The Office
Surely the most cringe-worthy television sitcom ever made.
Can anyone honestly think of something that makes you cringe more?

It's not THAT cringing.
Nathan Barley - especially the "bad, to have a bad uncle" episode makes me feel more uncomfortable. But most cringing of all... Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em.
Ooohhh, Bettaayyy!
Whenever I hear that my insides liquefy.

Ugh.
Every time I watch that I just want to punch him! How can you have an entertaining programme when the main character's annoying idiocy is the entertainment, with no redeeming features to empathise with?!
It'd be like The Office without Tim, the normal one.

Titty Bang Bang
The "sketch" show.
Cringe worthy, but in a different way.

Fawlty Towers
More cringeworthy than The Office, and far funnier. Clever, that.

I couldn't watch it
I was in the fetal position after five minutes and couldn't continue.
My suspicion is that people who *enjoy* watching The Office are borderline sociopaths.

Borat
Some of the early stuff in the Ali G show made me cringe big time. It amazes me how he managed to get away with a lot of that stuff.
