Weed grinder

Non pot smokers may not be familiar with this gadget but as the subject line suggests its a device for grinding up your weed. Chuck a lump in and give it a few twists and then tip into your desired smoking device. Saves a lot of messing around and also makes your weed go further.

Each time you use it very small amounts of weed collect on the inside edges and around the teeth.

I’m not too proud a man to admit, that in times of desperation the small deposits of weed can be carefully scraped out with a knife into tobacco and then smoked.

Addicted - moi??

done that many a time........
and you can always get an emergency skinny slim jim spliff from it (i called them EJ's..emergency joints). mate of mine also used to make spliffs from old roaches in desperation. tried it once. never again.

ive finally kicked the habit after 10 years. been weed free for 9 months. reading your post reminded me of the what i used to go through when i couldnt get hold of any weed (which is worse when you have the cash but no dealers have any! that is the ultimate downer) and i laugh about it now. as much as i enjoyed it, my life is so much better without it (and that something i never thought i would hear myelf say).

interesting to hear you say your life is better without it.

I've pondered when I might give it up for good.

I'm still smoking most days (too much this week) and while it really does help my poor sleeping more than anything else I've tried, that is really just the official reason; the unofficial one being that I like it. a lot.

I also suspect that poor sleeping may have been caused by too many nights on the ganja at uni.

must say though, that since uni, if I haven't been able to get any then I don't freak out. can happily go a couple of weeks straight with not even a thought of weed.

Vipros - I think the term prudent depends on how large the scrapings are. Most of the time there is really fuckall left in there and the procedure should be classed as desperation. Never tried smoking the butts though (thank god!) although a bit of careful morning-after ashtray mining is a different matter entirely ;o)

Bert - Yeah, I know what you mean, it needs to stop and I appreciate your serious hat there but what with all the other things going on...its somewhere down the list of things to sort out (right under join a gym!)Having said that I dont think it gets much better than having a beer and a joint when you get back from work and then sitting on your stupidly big sofa and thinking about the day.

Insanimal - Yep, one of my mates has got one. We ran out the other morning and we had a dust joint. Kicked my ass but damn that some tickly (sp?) shit.

[And I didn't want to mislead you all but my grinder is infact purple, not green as the picture shows, apologies]

I have exactly the same grinder in pink
I know it's fairly standard, but the one in the pic is a bit shallower than most, as mine is. Although, if I'm being honest, I have at least three...

That it's much more satisfying to use a fine paintbrush to dust the crystals out of a grinder in times of no ganja.
