Fancy Dress
Two words that fill me with dread. Fancy Dress. Some people really get off on this - last party I went to that involved dressing up, one bloke came in a sort of fetish-nazi outfit, all tight black pvc, whips and jackboots.* Which would have been OK but it was a Eurovision party, and he'd come as Austria.
What's the worst costume you've encountered? Or worn? Or been made to wear...
*and no, it wasn't one of them royals

Attack of the clones
I went to my drama-student sister's 21st birthday party as Boba Fett, with a very expensive helmet and blasters pilfered from my son's toybox. Thing was, I couldn't get a sitter so I drove myself down (helmet on the whole way) and couldn't drink because I'd to drive back. I just avoided my family and everyone wondered who the mystery guest was. I stayed for an hour, drove myself home and sent my hubby down half an hour later in the same costume... He's a good foot taller then me. And doesn't drink. And doesn't like people. So he left after half an hour. So I went back down and when I finally said hello to the folks, they mentioned that there were two other Boba Fetts there that night, what an embarrassment.
