This is a question First World Problems

Onemunki says: We live in a world of genuine tragedy, starvation and terror. So, after hearing stories of cruise line passengers complaining at the air conditioning breaking down, what stories of sheer single-minded self-pity get your goat?

Government Moaners...
...simple really...I spend all day every day (well 5 or 10 minutes a week) hearing people moan about the government
...how fuel costs are too high,
how there's too much/too little housing,
how there's too much/not enough renewable energy,
how the UK should/shouldn't be engaging it's armed forces in some far flung part of the world,
how TB is/isn't the fault of badgers (I have a theory about TB and hedgehogs stitching up the badgers with this one, but that's another story)
..all sorts of petty things...THIS doesn't get to me at all.

What does wind me up like fuck, is the same silly cunts during voting season still plopping an X next to the lying toerag Labout/Liberal/Tory candidate who individually and within their party will only every attempt to disappoint the populace.

Has anyone ever stopped for one second to drag their head out of their ass and thought that they would vote for a party that hasn't a well established track record of fucking up this country? This is the 21st Century...not the 18th...we have choices. listen to your moans...you'll generally find IT'S YOUR OWN FUCKING FAULT.

Democracy doesn't work.
In a sane world, the general public would have no say in the way the country is run.
If I'm ever in charge, I will oppress them, and oppress them hard.

You problem is
that you don't understand politics.

Whoever you vote for, their policies will just be a reaction to outside events.

Labour will promise to cut taxes, but if they run out of money, they will raise taxes.

The Tories will promise to clamp down on corporate malfeasance, but if the stock market booms they won't go near the city.

The green party will give tax breaks on Porsche Cayennes if it means they get to stay in power.

Fuel costs are too high becuase fuel is expensive.

There's not enough housing because housebuilders aren't building houses.

Etc etc.

Doesn't matter who we vote for.

If this is true
I'm voting Monster Munch...

I don't want your vote.
I want to sweep to power in a bloody coup.
Sheesh. I'm not Hitler.

I normally moan
that there isn't a viable option to vote for. Green maybe but apart from the green agenda not sure where they stand on anything else. Monster raving looney party it is then, they don't have a track record of fucking the country up....

Green are to the left. WELL to the left. Socialist Worker left. Bit like the BNP really, talking about nationalising industries and big increases in public spending. As I think Norman Tebbit said, the BNP are just Labour with racism.

The
Left are big spenders (not a bad thing in the right climate) but would also have to hike taxes right up to meet all their green policies....I kind of like the idea of getting control of our water and gas back and stop the secret privitasation of the NHS however...

UKIP
They put the interests of the UK first, but without being racists like the BNP.

I have a feeling he might 'go to town' on this.
(, Thu 1 Mar 2012, 15:48, closed)
You'll be the BNP voter then?

(, Thu 1 Mar 2012, 16:14, closed)
Me?
NO...
(, Thu 1 Mar 2012, 16:31, closed)
Screw the politics
I want to know you theory about the hedgehogs and the badgers.
