First World Problems
Onemunki says: We live in a world of genuine tragedy, starvation and terror. So, after hearing stories of cruise line passengers complaining at the air conditioning breaking down, what stories of sheer single-minded self-pity get your goat?

It's dreadful
When you can't find a soup spoon.
And then when you do you can't find your soup spoon fork to pick it up with.
Nor your soup spoon fork tongs.
Or your soup spoon fork tongs tongs.
Or your soup spoon fork tongs tongs server.
And then your soup spoon fork tongs tongs server slice is dirty.
(Thanks to Mr. Mark Evans for alerting me to this situation.)

By the same token...
what exactly does a fish knife do, that a normal knife doesn't?

There's probably some obscure point of etiquette where you have to eat the fish with the knife jammed up your nostril
or something equally ludicrous.

It's not so much what it can do.
The fish knife is blunt and used to seperate flakes of fish. Apparently it is also used to add sauce to the fish and I suppose its larger blade makes this easier.

Bleak Expectations
is the best thing on the radio, ever. Particularly Harry Biscuit.

But sadly
Curious Old Shop of Stuff or whatever it is called is not the best thing on TV

It is rather shit.
Still, Derek Griffiths is in it, who's up there with Brian Cant in terms of childhood nostalgia value.

Oh, I agree a lot
They've thrown out the actors that made it good (particularly anthony Head and whoever plays both versions of Pip). I realise a lot of the radio series would be too expensive/impossible to film, but it could have stayed closer to the original. Having said that, after Catherine Parkinson turned french I've got Major Horn* for her
