This is a question Getting Old

Drimble asks: When was it last brought home to you just how old you're getting? We last asked this in 2004, and you're eight years older now. Eight. Years.

My housemates motorbike
Is old enough to drink in a pub. I still think it looks modern.

but to be fair
most people's notions of modern were actually set out in the 1920's or thereabouts - e.g. Bauhaus etc. And the next time some big company or other decides to go with sans serif or all lower case in its logo/name, to "look modern", ... yep, also nearly 100 years ago.

To be fair,
I much prefer 80's/90's bikes to most of the modern stuff!

Same goes with cars...

Do bikes look different now?
I don't pay much attention but my friend's new bike could have been made at any point in the last 20 years. Well apart, perhaps, from the fuel injection but you can't see that.

You wouldn't believe the changes.
Some motorbikes can even drink in pubs.
