I grew up in a pub....
....and I attended a CofE school. It wasn't until I was about 14 that I realised the word I should have used at the end of a prayer was 'Amen', rather than 'Bar-men'. I still think my version is better though.

Haha,
I was about that age when some told me it was 'round of applause' instead of 'round of a claws'.
All the way through school I could never understand what claws had to do with anything and thought maybe there was a really old story about a dragon that clapped. The even odder thing was, when I tried to picture the story I could never picture that damn dragon, only his freaky clapping claws.
I was a strange kid, to say the least.
