Yup
from memory. It always amazes me how I manage to remember vast tracts of script from an obscure cult TV comedy, but regularly forget my mother's birthday.

Ditto
Vaguely related to topic: I find watching those old episodes, even though I know them pretty much by heart; to be a curiously comforting ritual. Kind of like mass is for the observant religious, but with more laughs.
edit: "An excellent plan with just two drawbacks" has me creased up every time. www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-JfFYZHZLQ You favourite bits?

The Cat
"Hey! This has been a good day! I've eaten five times I've slept six times and I've made a lot of things mine! Tomorrow, I'm gonna see if I can't have sex with something!"
Later:
"S.E.X. I think I want it, yeah!"
*sees Lister unconscious*
"S.E.X. I think I found it... Oh. It's just monkey boy. Hey, he's sick. Sick, helpless and unconscious."
*To Lister*
"If I weren't your friend, I'd steal your shoes"
From memory too. Kill me now...

No, no , no...
Rimmer: "Step up to Red Alert".
Kryten: "Are you absolutely sure, sir? It does mean changing the bulb".

Makes me roffle every time

Having had a chance to think about it...
Hook, line, sinker, rod and copy of Angling Times, sir.
I've always had a bit of a blind spot for sevens.
Form an orderly queue behind the gunsight.
Over the years, I've come to regard you as... people I... met.
Yes, but Rimmer Directive 472 states just as clearly, 'No chance, you metal bastard!'
That was an important speech sir, and it had to be made, but might I suggest that the rest of this discourse is conducted by those with brains larger than a grape?
...and many, many more.

Oh yes.
Let's be honest - some episodes are wall-to-wall classic quotes. The "blue alert" gag is a running joke in our family.
