Good advice for a combat zone......
Never draw fire; it irritates everyone around you.
Remember that incoming fire has the right of way.
If at first you don't succeed, call in an air strike.
Try to look unimportant; the enemy may be low on ammo and not want to waste a bullet on you.

I wouldn't have thought it appropriate to be drawing anything in the middle of a fire fight. Surely wait till the battle is over before commencing any illustrations?
