Hitler wasn't a vegetarian, he ate roast ducks and injected himself with the extract of bull's testicles. This is one of those old fashioned myths that refuses to die, like saying that leaning on a radiator will give you piles.

Modification suggestion
Never trust a proselytising vegetarian that owns a cat.
Someone who thinks animals should not be killed to feed humans and berates you for tolerating it, yet can quite happily live with and love an obligate carnivore, has some degree of hypocrisy going on.
