speaking as a studentmy favourite thing to do when i come to visit home is open the fridge door to behold the full shelves of food and LITERALLY stick my head inside to nestle with the soon-to-be-eaten cheeses.

It's a sign you've come homeWhen you open the fridge and it's full. Actually full, even the bits on the inside of the door.
The only time my student fridge was full, I'd bought four crates of beer and one block of cheese.
