This is a question Bizarre habits

Sandettie Light Vessel Automatic tells us: "Until I pointed it out, my other half use to hang out the washing making sure that both pegs were the same colour. Now she goes out of her way to make sure they never match." Tell us about bizarre rituals, habits and OCD-like behaviour.

Number plates
I constantly try to make balanced equations out of car number plates substituting a letters numerical place in the alphabet for that number (i.e. A=1, B=2, and so on). In fact I've been doing it for so long that I can instantly tell you what the numerical value of any letter is and what letter a number is. 9'13 1 1914 7920, 9 11141523.

That last bit would be better expressed as
9'13 1 19/14 7/9/20, 9 11/14/15/23
as anything over 9 could be a bit confusing.

Fair enough...
And thus it should read: 9'13 1 19/1/4 7/9/20, 9 11/14/15/23.

You're absolutely right.
My typo.

hmm
In a somewhat similar but not really sort of way, I look at house numbers and license plates for good numbers.

My street address is 2891: 2+8 = 10 and 9+1 = 10, which for some reason gives me comfort. Also, my license plate ended with 2739, where 3*9 = 27. Also comforting.

Close..
But my mind shows me words that have the letters in the same order as the numberplates
