Sandettie Light Vessel Automatic tells us: "Until I pointed it out, my other half use to hang out the washing making sure that both pegs were the same colour. Now she goes out of her way to make sure they never match." Tell us about bizarre rituals, habits and OCD-like behaviour.

I have to mark all messages as read as soon as I see them come in. For some reason I hate the bold font and number next to the folder in Outlook. It drives me mental when I see other people's mailboxes with them all over the place in their inbox, deleted items, personal folders etc. Am I the only one?

I hate it when people file it in a work/archive folder and its still bold and unread. The bold thing makes me have a full on spak-attack

It reads about 7500 unread items as I subscribe to a shitload of rss feeds I really must get around to reading.

OMG ME TOO. If there is even one unread message, especially in my work mailbox (where I might get 20-30 legitimate mails a day), it drives me [ape/bat]shit insane. I can't consider my work done for the day unless I have carefully marked all my mail as read.

in your DELETED items! drives me insane! and THEN you can't find them to read it and mark it as read - so you have to 'select all' and mark 'all as unread' - but the sense of relief once that bold little number disapears.... pure bliss

deleted e-mails I can almost get away with worrying about.
E-Mails HAVE to be marked as read...let's not gte me started on people who use "deleted items" as a storage folder and the complain when they sporadically go "missing".

I thought I was the only one... It just cannot be bolded! I use the little flag/tick symbol so much yet my colleagues...
Argh, please just don't...

... and has disabled the "empty deleted items folder" thing. He's got upwards of 7,000 emails in his deleted items folder.
He uses it as an "I'll read this later" folder.
Idiot. It's for items you know you don't want - that's why it's called DELETED ITEMS.
Oh. Perhaps I'm more anal than I thought. But then he's a disorganised, barely functional idiot generally - so I think it's him (and people like him) who can't follow simple logic who are the problem. Not me. OH no.
