This is a question Heroes and villains of 2011

Who were your heroes or villains of the last year, and why? Who inspired you? Who had you kicking the cat across the room? They don't have to be well known, you might even want to laud the achievements of your binman. (Note that "Nick Clegg nuff said" answers puts you straight onto our naughty list)

Hero has to be Colonel Ghadaffi
For the best performance in the 'Death of a dictator' category for 2011.

Best "hiding in a drain" death category.
To be fair to him, I'd have cried like a little bitch too.

Really?
"Death of a dictator" has been a tough category this year.

I know there are doubts about Bin Laden since his entire death-squad died in a helicopter accident the week after. And nobody is ever going to be sure the Kim Jong-il did die on that train or not. But, it's still too close to call for me.

Thatcher should be a shoe-in for next year, though. Although, Popes- by their very nature as old men- are always a safe bet.

Apparently none of them carked it.

Nice try
But Bin Laden won in 'Warrior for Terror' rather than 'Dictator' category, and Kim's death was just an anti-climax.
