The sinks in my flat all blocked upIt turned out that they all join the main soil pipe through a single connection. Therefore my problem.
Caustic soda and a plunger.

Just be bloody careful.Caustic soda is one of the best agents for destroying eyes that there is. If you're using a plunger, wear some eye protection.

Thanks for the help, and the carpets in the hallway. I didn't notice the flood until I got home and yeah I've spoke to some neighbours they have the same problem.
