Hoarding
Willenium says: I had to bring some floppy disks into work which I had been saving for 10 years "in case I might need them". Tell us when your hoarding skills have come in useful (or not, as the case may be)

My cupboards are full
of fierce Mongolian warriors. I keep telling myself that I'm going to invade Europe one day.

Ah ...
It comes as no surprise whatsoever, that you are a closet Warhammer 40k player.

A common refrain these days, and a bit harsh on one of our more amusing contributors.
Also, which book does everyone refer to?

It's called The New Death and others.
I used to put a post on /offtopic when one of my stories got published, and I put one on when I put out 'The New Death and others'.
Some people felt there was an 'unwritten rule' that I shouldn’t have posted it. I felt that, if there was such a rule, it should have been written, and that if no moderator says anything then I’m entitled to assume that I’m not doing anything wrong. Things were said, mostly by them. I responded. If you say my writing’s shit without having read it, you’re not going to see me at my most mature.
A while later I found out that some of them had decided to post fake reviews of my book on Amazon, falsely claiming to have read it and giving it the lowest possible rating of 1 star (I didn’t find out for ages because they posted on amazon.co.uk, which apparently has completely separate reviews to amazon.com).
Anyway, apparently I haven't been punished enough.

A-ha, and now it has become a Pavlovian response to any of your posts
Some of those reviews really are very positive, and if I had a Kindle I might take a punt for 77p. Such a shame.

What you used to do, young man,
was bowl in, post a link to your writing and then fuck off, no interaction, no attempt at civility, fuck all other than 'hey! Look at me!!! Look at what a clever boy I am!!'
As as result you came across as an ill-mannered, self-aggrandising prick. Plus - and this is a crucial point - your book is shit.
Hope this helps x

Also, it was the MASSIVE FUCKING PICTURE that he was politely asked to remove.
And then acted like a self entitled cunt in response.

I am entitled
if that's taken as short for 'entitled to post something off-topic on the off-topic board.'

Sure, as long as you accept that
people are entitled to respond as they see fit.
Which you seem to have difficulty doing.

My hypocrisy exposed!
I reserve the right to post off-topic posts on the off-topic forum
AND YET
I reject your right to pretend to be a moderator and then engage in an e-vendetta years afterwards when you don't get your own way.
A double-standard of the highest order.

Vendetta?
Don't flatter yourself. I couldn't give a toss about you or your book. I just enjoy how ridiculously easy it is to get a rise out of you.

So your 'argument'
is that you don't believe what you're saying, but enjoy upsetting people.

You misunderstand me. I don't enjoy upsetting people. I enjoy upsetting YOU.

The correct response to spam emails
is to declare an e-vendetta which can last several years.
Any grown-up will tell you the same thing.
