When in the pub/out/etc with your mates, wait for one to leave his phone and do a send all text (to everyone in his phone book) simply saying "I know your secret" sit back and enjoy the ride......
Before someone replies "Jimmy Carr Joke" i do know, but it doesnt stop me doing it....

As someone who disaproves of sendnig texts to mates phonebooks...
... I still find this funny -- it should be safe to send to anyone and has some thought to it rather than "I'd like to fuck you again" or other relationship-ruining crap. It's a shame that everyone knows it's a Jimmy Carr joke though.

Wasn't it Mark Twain originally?
Not the phone part, obviously, but didn't he once send a telegram to each of his friends saying something like 'we are found out, leave town' and one of them did?
I'm sure I remember reading that somewhere...

I think it was mentioned on QI once...
Not sure if it was Mark Twain, but yes someone did, and one of the friends actually disappeared.
