Modern life is Rubbish, suggested Damian Allbran of Pulp
He might have had a point. What was better about the good old days, or conversely do you believe the modern world to be the zenith of civilisation?

How she laughed that day when an old schoolfriend bought in a roll of film that, when developed, showed said friend's sex pics. It is to my wife's eternal credit that she maintained her professional demeanour whilst handing over the photographs.
I'm not sure if the girl realised just how many times her boyfriend had decided to snap a pov pic of his dick being sucked.

her husband bought over a USB key with his holiday snaps in and told me to put them on the telly. I much preferred the old days where you would flick through 36 pictures and hand them back. The sad fucker had over 600 photos of this shitty holiday resort.

Digital photography and the falling cost of storage are both a blessing and a curse.

my friend went on holiday to Thailand with her bloke and they took the usual thousand shots. when they got home, they were showing his parents by way of plugging the USB stick into the tv. left them on in the background, general chitchat.
she was thrilled when the screen suddenly filled with a giant close-up of her sunbathing arse that she didn't even know her bf had taken.

Where you can take loads of photos but you have to wait until you get home and then nip down the High St on your lunchbreak before you're allowed to see them.

We had them developed there in Crete because we thought getting them developed in the UK would get us nicked.
When we went to collect them from the very slime my looking bloke in what can only be described as Trainspottings answer to SuperSnaps Greek style, there were maybe only 12 photographs in the sleeve, when we know it was a 24 photo film in the camera.
