This is a question Morning After Souvenirs

I once woke up in a tent after a particularly drunken holiday pub crawl, clutching a tap. There's a drowned, sunken village somewhere in Wales because of my act of petty theft, but I cannot remember. Tell us what - or who - you've brought back from nights out.

Woke up in the school staffroom with no memory of how I got there...
It was ten to eight and my first lesson started at 8.

I got up, walked into my lesson and taught two periods of A level physics, pretty badly I should imagine.

I didn't have any souvenirs but nearly lost my job for that one. Silly twunt.

What kind of fucking stupid time to start is that?
A fucking stupid one, that's what.

It's hard enough getting students in for a lesson at 9, let alone 8

Even science says so.
The adolescent and young adult brain simply does not function well early in the morning. There's experimental evidence for that. Schools shouldn't start until mid-morning or early afternoon, and go on until early evening.

Apart from the fact
that I'm a morning person, and was as a teenager too, and actually do my best work before lunch and lose all ability to function after 5pm. Just saying...

I too lose all functionality after 1700
depending on how inebriated I am.

Sadly
I can't blame it on the alcohol :(

When I started working full-time, I found 6 and 7am starts much easier than 8.30 or 9am starts for some reason.
