This is a question Nativity Plays

Every year the little kids at schools all over get to put on a play. Often it's christmas themed, but the key thing is that everyone gets a part, whether it's Snowflake #12 or Mary or Grendel (yes, really).

Personally I played a 'Rich Husband' who refused to buy matches from some scabby street urchin. Never did see her again...

Who or what did you get to be? And what did you have to wear?

My Two Cents
Flouncing.
Pub Quizzes.
Unrequited Love.
Under The Influence.
Stag Nights.

You ignored all these potentially hilarious subjects (and this is just from 1 page of suggestions) to give us this feeble excuse for a QOTW. What dribbling cretin chose this shit?

Boring.
No one else has said anything similar. No one else has said, blindly, that this QOTW is rubbish. It isn't. You're rubbish, because you didn't try.

QOTW Rubbish?
Have you actually read some of the other folks on here's objections???????

Maybe a quick review of your facts may be in order sunshine !!

Maybe I was being sarcastic
implying that the post wasn't original. So I'd suggest that you leaping in to telling me to get my facts straight is a bit reactionary.

EDIT: Yet another person who decries QOTW because the subject is rubbish. OH, you bore me so greatly the tedium is almost tangible. In the whole range of human experience, are you seriously suggesting that because you don't have something to write about then the subject is somehow not worthwhile? How about you try and think of something decent to contribute, other than a few weak arguments as to why you shouldn't have to deal with what you perceive to be bad QOTWs because it's just so unfair.

While superficially I tend to agree...
take it as a challenge!

Those topics you mention are easy, at least this one requires some thought and story-telling ability.
Think of it like this: if you can come up with an entertaining story for a seemingly boring topic you're a much better story-teller than someone who can only entertain with an intrinsically entertaining topic.

Story telling ??????
IF i wanted a story, i would read a book. On here, i want to laugh. This is my morning giggle, and as such, just a pile of cack this week !!

I can fully understand the intellectual side of things in terms of making something dull funny, yes a skill. but not on here. Religion? boring, but you know there are some funny as fuck stories about it. Nativity plays? pretty limited ground really.

The evidence would suggest
that there are some pretty decent responses already. Meaning that the subject isn't that limited.

D-, must try harder.
