The nicest thing someone's ever done for me
In amongst all the tales of bitterness and poo, we occasionally get fluffy stories that bring a small tear to our internet-jaded eyes.
In celebration of this, what is the nicest thing someone's done for you? Whether you thoroughly deserved it or it came out of the blue, tell us of heartwarming, selfless acts by others.
Failing that, what nice things have you done for other people, whether they liked it or not?

I'd like to make a complaint
This is the first qotw which has made me cry each and every bloody time I look at the new posts.
My mascara is ruined.
Now that's not a very nice thing to do, is it?
Bring back the cock jokes.
Actually this is a lovely qotw but I am sobbing through most of it. My faith in humanity is restored.

There were these two cocks walking down the road
and the first one said "Thanks for giving me my job back Gordon" and the other said "You can just suck me off later Peter"

And neither said
'Cock-a-doodle-doo!'?
Mind you, talking chickens, that's really something.

Tell him not to bring his Mrs next time
and I'll rape him like a stuck pig.

We need to know these things?
especially if they will be on nipples

Hmmm
That's a good idea and it'll make a change from tassels - which is what I was going to wear.

Not sorry
I'm not sorry - PJM did a good thing for me and, while I'm not all the way there, I'm a lot close to sanity :)

when i thought about my hitchhiking experience, i thought to myself, am i blessed in some way? lucky? do i have a guardian angel? and then i thought, hell, no. it's the human beings that aren't behaving in the way the Daily Mail claims that everyone else is. we hear so much crap about how evil people are to each other, yet very little about how lovely they are.
