This is a question I'm glad nobody saw me

Have you ever done something, realised how stupid or embarrassing it was and then looked about to see if anyone watching? Did you get away with it?

One time in primary school class....
....I called my teacher Mum!

Odd.
Because your mum calls me teacher.

Calling your wife Mum is probably worse..
... Especially whilst in bed.
... Especially whilst in bed having sex.

Ouch...

errrr....
my mum used to call my dad, dad all the time when i was a kid.
Is there something wrong with my family?
Not sure if she did it during sex though. My parents very rarely had sex in front of their infant childern, well not full on penetrative sex anyway.

Not sure if it's weird
but it sounds very victorian.

My gran and grandad used to do it.
Think they just got sick of having to remember a different name to the mum, dad, nan, gran, grandad that the rest of the family called them.

I jokingly said we were going to start doing it when we have kids to the missus the other night. The idea was quickly shot down. :)

Like they do
in the Beano?

I too did this
a few times, and was seen by a few people.

Better at Primary School than having a parent as a teacher at secondary.

I did that in secondary school
but I was in a classfull of other kids at the time, so I couldn't post it in the "I'm glad nobody saw me" QOTW

Oh, heavens...
I used to do that all the time. When you're boarding at a young age you always find yourself calling either parent 'sir' at exeat weekends.
I also once said my ex-girlfriend's name whilst getting a hand-shandy from my now wife. Luckily I was cumming, the ex was named Kate and I managed, in a moment of lightening-quick, life-saving genius to immediately follow up with " 'kaay, Okaaay. I'm there." The once-uttered 't' went unnoticed.

My mate George used to do that all the time
but in fairness, he also once queued up for PE totally naked because he'd left his kit at home and was too scared to tell the teacher, so this wasn't his low point embarrassment-wise.

I called a colleague "hun'".
A colleague asked me a question while I was concentrating on something else and I replied, thankfuly not loud enough or her to hear, "What was that, hun?". I quickly followed with a more audible "What was that, sorry?" and, hopefully, she never noticed.
