They are nice.
If it hadn't been for being able to flog some old rings and get £80 for them it would have been an artificial job though...

Bloody heating, etc.

You've not taken your sovereign rings down to Cash Converters have you?
You'd have got top dollar for them in Bristol!

Nah, local jewellers.
Made up for the £75 scam inflicted on us earlier this week, and we're a fiver up to boot!

I hope your persuing this scam.
If you paid by credit card then contact them and explain what happened. My mum got her money back.

No, it was debit.
Rang the bank and they said they couldn't refund the money as she'd given the details to the firm. They've sent a cancellation notice to the company and cancelled the card so no more transactions can happen (hopefully) but any further removals from our account will continue to be honoured until the 7th january when the 30 day notice period expires.. after which they will gladly refund any more payments. :/

I played on my mum's age and that they hoodwinked her.
Pretended she was some dotty old woman who didn't know any better which is not really far from the truth. *grins*

The phone number on the website doesn't work
And emails are not replied to, according to the consumer website I visited.

One to chalk up to experience, although I'm pretty annoyed she fell for it in the first place.

What was the problem?

(, Fri 10 Dec 2010, 21:10, Reply)
Just some stupid low cost trial thing for £2.48.
Cancelled within 14 days but they still took £75 anyway. Cunts.
