Did some food shopping and helped my mum wrap chrimbo presents.
My sinuses are killing me so I'm going back to bed.

Why do your calves hurt when you don't weat shoes?

(, Sat 18 Dec 2010, 13:36, Reply)
shortened tendons
I can walk in flat shoes but if I do it for too long it strains my calves quite badly

I'm sure you've already thought of this
but can long term stretching not help?
(, Sat 18 Dec 2010, 13:46, Reply)
it can
but I did it for months and then got too bored and angry to continue. In the interests of me being a calm person I abandoned physical therapy ages ago

You need a big blonde man called Sven to talk
gruffly to you and manipulate your joints. I can lend you mine.

I think I'll pass
all physiotherapists are cunts. I wouldn't shake hands with one

After seeing a couple for a few months I can't help but agree

(, Sat 18 Dec 2010, 14:03, Reply)
Well, given that I happen to know a very nice one
that statement is clearly just grumpy bollocks.

You may know one
I had seven in total across two hospitals and an outpatient clinic. Every single one was a cunt with a predisposition to sadism.

OMG seven people involved in physical therapy made you think they were cunts
which, given that they were almost certainly trying to encourage you to do something which was probably a bit painful but likely to benefit you in the long term is hardly surprising.

I'm not stupid Al
I'm pretty good at knowing what's good for me. Repeated humiliation and attempts to and I quote 'break you before we fix you' are not part of the recovery process. It's indicative of a inherent sadism in an individual that I personally find distasteful. Given that it's thanks to my wonderful physiotherapists that I had to relearn by myself to walk, because they never bothered correcting the genuine faults I had, I find it hard to find any gratitude.

I think you two should totally get a room
