I'm planning an indoor picnic,
cheese and mulled wine.
Later on a 'roast dinner'. By this I mean roast potatoes and veg, but with leftover chicken legs.

In my less than humble opinion, if roast dinners consisted of nothing but perfectly-cooked roast potatoes and a whole bunch of sauces
I'd be a very happy man.

I must admit it was nice to have a turkey dinner again at Christmas.

I had faggots
they were lush.

Faggits an' pays?

Nah, the trimmings were more traditional
roast carrots, roast parsnips, roast potatoes, cabbage, broccoli, some dauphinoise potatoes and onion gravy.

There was turkey as well but I'd been looking forward to faggots..

On boxing day I was fed boiled gammon, potato dauphinoise, broccoli and an amazing cheese sauce.

We had homemade quesadillas
Oh tradition!

Aye
but you have to put some meat in there, for tradition's sake.
And the chicken legs were roasted originally. Three days ago.
