eg cheese and onion = awesome. steak and kidney (snake'n'pygmy as my dad would say) = fucking abortion in pastry.

(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 0:34, Reply)
you've never had Taylor's meat and potato pies
Well unless you were in Crewe in the 90s. They were so peppery and lovely

Did they sell them at Gresty Road?
If they did, then I'm sure I've eaten them.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 0:42, Reply)
don't know, possibly
but there are (or were) a lot of pie people round there
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 1:05, Reply)
I like pies.
Pies are good.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 1:11, Reply)
I remember once, Bristol City were playing Sheffield Wednesday away
I went to the food bar at half time and asked 'what have you got left?'

'Four mean and potato pies' was the answer.

I bought (and ate) the lot, just to annoy the people behind me in the queue.

I've grown up (and slimmed down) since then.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 0:34, Reply)
mean and potato
you certainly were
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 0:37, Reply)
I once got the last cup of Bovril at an away game with Wycombe.
There is no end to my awful behaviour.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 0:40, Reply)
like drinking bovril you mean
shudder
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 0:44, Reply)
Oddly, I don't even like Bovril
But I will order the last of anything!
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 0:46, Reply)
mean and potato?
was the "mean" part you for your pie-snaffling activities?
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 0:38, Reply)
I've not got my spec on, and I've been drinking.
I meant MEAT.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 0:39, Reply)
Spec?
Do you wear a monocle?

I think even more highly of you now.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 0:46, Reply)
Gah.

(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 0:46, Reply)

(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 0:46, Reply)

(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 0:35, Reply)
Small shoes?
You want to see the size of my hands. They're massive.

And you know what they say about men with big hands? Yeap. Big gloves.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 0:35, Reply)
i am now picturing you
as wallace with his massive animated hands

he hails from bristol too, no??
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 0:36, Reply)
As in the Claymation?
He's from Wigan.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 0:38, Reply)
the character, yes
but nick park and the actual films are from bristol aren't they? there was a fuss a few years ago when the council put up wallace and gromit characters instead of christmas ones...
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 0:43, Reply)
He's from Preston
But based in Bristol.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 0:47, Reply)
therefore jeff could be him (wallace, not nick park)
good good
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 0:50, Reply)
Small shoes.

(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 0:35, Reply)
actually
i think the assumption is that all the extremities are in proportion, so a guy with small-average feet will only be in possession of a small-average cock.

i am surprised you have not heard this before.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 0:37, Reply)
I made the same quip as Jeff :(

(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 0:41, Reply)
yeah well
i'm SURE he's heard it before too, if you know what i mean...

(it's funny because i am implying that... /ac)
