The eclipse lasts for a fair period and the ISS transits every 90 mins.
Edit: it doesn't transit the sun, of course.

The ISS will be in a different position each orbit. Which means that it would only pass the sun / observer alignment once.

Anyway, I've just noticed I have a ringworm, so it's on with the Canistan full strength for me for a couple of weeks.
