Aw, boo
why so sucky?
(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 19:35, Reply)
Too much walking
on the plus side, the doctor wrote me a prescription for my meds even though he wasn't going to at first (drug-abusers go for them apparantly) then after fve minutes he went 'you don't look like a drug fiend and you seem genuine' and gave them to me anyway.

Hahaha!
I think if I was having an off day (ie, one that required pain meds) I'd be genuinely pleased if I didn't pass for a haggard druggie.

we have so many of them here, you're hard pressed to get any pain meds at all
the last time my back bothered me the doctor gave me tylenol and a script to get an xray
(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 19:43, Reply)
But tylenol looks to be just a bog standard painkiller
you need a script for that? You can buy em like sweeties over here, and stronger stuff too, without a prescription.
(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 19:51, Reply)
it was prescription strength, which means diddlysquat
because it didn't work at all
(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 20:17, Reply)
Do you have to pay for them as well?

(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 20:19, Reply)
well yes
I didn't go in for the xray though because I don't have insurance, plus I quite clearly wasn't broken anywhere, just in pain
it went away on its own, thankfully

How much do they charge for things like x-rays and pills?

(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 20:25, Reply)
about 20 for the pills, probably a couple hundred for the x-ray

(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 20:44, Reply)
Jesus.
And some people are opposed to health care reform?
(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 20:47, Reply)
If you were in the UK
I would recommend you go to my chiropractor.
(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 20:30, Reply)
I prefer a masseuse

(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 20:47, Reply)
Have some chocolate and some alcohol.

(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 19:37, Reply)
This solves many things, it's true

(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 19:37, Reply)
And tastes great into the bargain.

(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 19:46, Reply)
Maybe chocolate liqueur is the way forwards?

(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 19:52, Reply)
I just made myself a pint of white russian

(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 19:56, Reply)
Excellent work there
has it really been that shit a day?
(, Wed 5 Jan 2011, 19:57, Reply)
It's just a lot of factors coupled with January retro/instrospection.
Plus the milk needs drinking.
