One of my favourite angry Tool songs that, especially the end
"Is this what you wanted? 'Cos this is what you're getting!"

they way he spits the words "parasitic little tick" is good too

(, Thu 6 Jan 2011, 15:14, Reply)
I'm going to listen to it right now

(, Thu 6 Jan 2011, 15:19, Reply)
best angry song ever
"take the long road and walk it" by the music - amazing.
(, Thu 6 Jan 2011, 15:21, Reply)
That's as angry as you listen to?
Wow. I must have serious problems.

The ultimate angry song ever is likely Hammer Smashed Face by Cannibal Corpse.

Although I think yours might claim more artistic merit went into it...

I don't see the point in listening to angry music when you're angry
That said, there are some times when only The Distillers will do.
(, Thu 6 Jan 2011, 15:26, Reply)
YOU'RE FUCKING DEAD TO ME! YOU'RE FUCKING DEAD TO ME!
YOU'RE FUCKING DEAD TO ME! YOU'RE FUCKING DEAD TO ME!
Sorry, just singing along to this song.

I'm listening to The Distillers now
It's quite frightening how music can totally change my mood. I've gone from totally chilled to wanting to kick someone's head in in the space of one song.
(, Thu 6 Jan 2011, 15:32, Reply)
I get the same with Oasis.

(, Thu 6 Jan 2011, 15:34, Reply)
Haha
This is why I have to listen to music on shuffle. It keeps me balanced and non-murdery.

Most of the time.
(, Thu 6 Jan 2011, 15:37, Reply)
see, I find heavy metal soothing and relaxing
If I'm in a bad mood listening to something inoffensive but mellow is likely to make it worse.
(, Thu 6 Jan 2011, 15:39, Reply)
Carcass are good at making me happy
But for background music, while I'm reading or whatever, there are few albums on the same level as 'Crack The Skye'
(, Thu 6 Jan 2011, 15:40, Reply)
Same here
Fast, heavy and angry music are best for me.
(, Thu 6 Jan 2011, 15:41, Reply)
I accept that
But if I'm in a foul mood anyway, I can just put on a nice bit of ska and everything seems much better. Unless I'm seriously, seriously angry at someone, at which point I break out the heavy stuff. It never helps though. It's the same as listening to sad music when you're depressed - why?
(, Thu 6 Jan 2011, 15:49, Reply)
Oh no, I just need to hear the first bars of 'Wonderwall' and I go murderous
My best friend is fully aware of this, and so plays it every time I see him live.

Godsmack isn't it?

(, Thu 6 Jan 2011, 15:34, Reply)
They were a pretty good band

(, Thu 6 Jan 2011, 15:34, Reply)
yeah, I like their stuff
"I stand alone" in particular.

they did an acoustic album or EP or something, which is also worth checking out
(, Thu 6 Jan 2011, 15:36, Reply)
Maybe, but this was 'Dead to Me' by Spineshank
Godsmack were good though.
(, Thu 6 Jan 2011, 15:39, Reply)
Chimaira with 'Pure Hatred' is some of the most entertainingly ridiculous angry lyrics I've ever heard.
But I love that track.
(, Thu 6 Jan 2011, 15:41, Reply)
they'd claim it
but they'd be wrong
(, Thu 6 Jan 2011, 15:27, Reply)
My thoughts exactly

(, Thu 6 Jan 2011, 15:29, Reply)
the music are fucking shit
most up their own arse band name anyone has ever thought of

those fucking wankers.

even Break Stuff by Limp Bizkit is a better angry song
