Too much work
Open tin ; pour in bowl ; warm up (unless feeling lazy) ; eat.

Making soup is a great process and one I shall never tire of.

I do not have a blender here.
Maybe I should invest. I certainly need a potato masher before Tuesday.

I need one too, I meant to ask for one for Christmas but forgot.
I might get Gonz to review his smoothie-maker, but I bet he hasn't used it for four months and it's gathering dust and ants in a quiet corner of his kitchen.

I quite want a Kenwood Chef
there's a blender attachment too.

Mother bought a juicer and I was the only one that used it. Three times.

I'd like something that does everything, but a bog-standard hand blender would be better than nothing, which is what I have right now.
Interesting, aren't we?

Oh, we're enthralling
Though to be honest talking about kitchen equipment is preferable to sodding Virgil.

I've just bought a Kenwood thing
because it was going to cost 65 fucking quid to replace the lid of the bowl and the dough hook for my magimix, and a new Kenwood was £75 in the sale. It'll probably last about a month and everything is a disappointment after a magimix but we shall see.
(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 13:01, Reply)
Ahh we had a magimix before we had a kenwood
The different blades were really exciting. Like a grater-blade. I find the Kenwood much easier to clean though.

magimixes are bombproof*
and they've got a very clever direct drive system. the kenwood feels like it's made out of milk bottle tops in comparison. But £45 for a lid? fucking hell.

*except, apparently the lid and the dough hook. But mine was nearly 8 years old, being fair

We've got one of those Kitchenaid mixers
It's reet good.
(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 13:05, Reply)
they are fucking good
but also fucking expensive, sadly.
(, Fri 7 Jan 2011, 13:08, Reply)
it's like you've been in our kitchen!
