I am shocked to learn that Biggie Smalls was 24 when he died in 1997.
Maybe it's because I was so young, but I would've thought he'd have been a lot older.
What are you shocked to learn?

Alt Q: I'd like to be out going for a drink. Or else relaxing on a beach in a warm country

Ice Cube made some fantastic records then some wack films.
That era also gave us backpack hip hop, which I love.
Where's Monty when there's hip hop being discussed? He truly is a dishevelled cur of a man.

I remember listening to a discussion on the radio about oil prices. This guy said that if all oil production stopped tomorrow it would take something like 60 days for us to use up the world current stock. That shocked me, though it probably shouldn't have. It explains why anything that affects production sends prices soaring.

also, can you imagine the total chaos it would be if oil production stopped? I've never actually thought about it until now, it would be very very bad.

At our current rate of consumption we have about 30 years of oil left.
There may be undiscovered fields but it's unlikely they'd yield much.

In the early '90s gangsta scene there were rumours that a major gangsta rapper liked a bit of back door action.
It was Tupac.

Unfortunately not.
There are still rumours about a gay rapper today. My money's on either Eminem or Mister B The Gentleman Rhymer.
