When were they given out?

Just before Christmas.
I've done prep notes and reading, and needed a couple of weeks down-time. Also was up north and couldn't access the library.

Cool, well still, at your estimate, you got 10 days to do 2 days work... should be easy going =)

Is that the word per hour count?
I used to work out a beer/words ratio when I was writing my dissertation.

Nooo, 7 hours per essay.
So, actually, 6 left on this one. It's daunting, but just about doable- another day of reading and writing on this one, and maybe 2 more days to write it (a lot of reading to do.) Which gives me about 6 days to read and write an essay on a book I've only half-read and know pretty much fuck all about.

I read some of my old essays the other day
It's impressive how much I actually look like I know what I'm talking about.

The thing with the Virgil essay is there's masses of books in the area of library I understand,
and JSTOR, and shit like that. The pain with Beowulf is I don't know that much about it. As in, really, really don't.

This is why I did a maths degree
if you can't answer the question in under half a page, you're doing it wrong.
