Without wanting to sound off
a hell of a lot of woman I know / have known (not biblically) are complete and utter slobs when it comes to home tidynes.

I am a complete fucking slob. In my own territory.
I figure I pay for my room and no one else has to see it, I'm not damaging property, it's just messy.
I clean up after myself in communal areas, if I get a husband and/or kid, they will do the same.

This is fair enough.
On the opposite scale, a mate of mine's mum was so houseproud that she hoovered and dusted twice a day. That would drive me up the wall.

I'm the only one to clean around the house where I live now, I go weeks just to see if anyone else will lift a finger...they never do.
I'm not sure what the standard is, twice a day is a bit much I think, but it must be suuuuper clean.

edit: I mean weeks without vacuuming the living room [which I'm never in], dusting and mopping. I clean after cooking and do dishes almost daily.

daily? really? Oh

I will also admit to this
The whole 'women are always tidy' thing is an oppressive stereotype to bumbling idiots like me
