They're without exception a load of old fucking bollocks.
I find these films tedious in the extreme, and having tried a couple of them* will never again waste my time with them.

I am interested to see how The Hobbit turns out, simply because I believe it to be a much better book than Lord of the Rings.

LOTR needed more neon and aliens, like Avatar, and lest forest scenes. I hate forest scenes.
