season is closedSo this is training the dog to scent the bird and hold it on the ground (at point) and then creep up with a shotgun and then get the dog to flush the bird for shooting. After that, myy favourite pheasnt dish is well hung (ooh err) pheasant casseroled with apples, cider and cream.
We also saw some roe deer (I like venison too) loads of hares and a stoat in full ermine. All in all a good day out
