Alt Q: What's for dinner?
(, Wed 9 Feb 2011, 19:38, 39 replies, latest was 15 years ago)
How can there be an Alt Q when there is no principal Q?
ANSWER ME THAT, YOUNG FELLER ME LAD.

I'm such an anarchist
Tearing down the system from within.
(, Wed 9 Feb 2011, 19:44, Reply)
I have avoided dinner in favour of making the most of my meagre alcohol budget for this week.
While this might suck tomorrow morning, it kicks arse now.
(, Wed 9 Feb 2011, 19:43, Reply)
I've got a bottle of Weston's for later.
And a couple of shots of scotch if I remember.
(, Wed 9 Feb 2011, 19:45, Reply)
finishing up my salad from lunch and chicken salad on a mother fucking roll
and then some beer

(, Wed 9 Feb 2011, 19:45, Reply)
What sort of beer?

(, Wed 9 Feb 2011, 19:46, Reply)
bud light

(, Wed 9 Feb 2011, 19:55, Reply)
How strong is bud light?

(, Wed 9 Feb 2011, 19:56, Reply)
not very
but I love the taste
(, Wed 9 Feb 2011, 19:58, Reply)
I don't think I've ever tried it.
I don't like Budweiser.
(, Wed 9 Feb 2011, 19:59, Reply)
I wouldn't bother
bud light is dreadful. Budvar is quite drinkable though.
(, Wed 9 Feb 2011, 20:05, Reply)
I've tried plenty of different kinds of beer, not all, I have a few I like-Newcastle, Killians, Stella
but nothing does it for me quite like a bud light
it's genuinely like a choir of angels singing when I drink the first drink a nice cold one

As far as I know nothing
I had some cheesecake and I'm not very hungry.

I have packing to do and some essay still to write.

vodka and apple juice

I once tried to recreate the wonder of cider
Using vodka and Appletiser.

Appletiser isn't a good mixer.

Gin and berroca. Not me.
I think I was a little sick after I heard about that one.

The things people do at festivals!
I like cider and lemon.

The worst concoctions are the ones
that are lumpy. If someone says "it's OK as long as you strain it through your teeth" you know you're in for a treat :(
(, Wed 9 Feb 2011, 20:15, Reply)
drinking cider from a lemon
really isn't as good as Feeder make it sound..
(, Wed 9 Feb 2011, 20:09, Reply)
But putting a slice of lemon in a pint of cloudy on a summers day is nice.

(, Wed 9 Feb 2011, 20:19, Reply)
I had roasted veg cous cous, dolphin friendly tuna, onion and asparagus.
I may have a little chocolate later.

Thanks to B3th I now have my Spanish course all up and running on my puter.

Does this mean you'll stop having naps on the weekend now and you'll be taking a siesta instead?

Yup!
Hola Jeff!

I am on a train
and will be for the forseeable future. I got provisions from m&s though, which involves eating brie with a plastic teaspoon. It feels wrong somehow..
(, Wed 9 Feb 2011, 20:01, Reply)
is it brie night on /OT?
me and some friends once went on a hike and someone had packed a wedge of brie and a full bottle of port. Then had the audacity to complain his rucksack was too heavy
(, Wed 9 Feb 2011, 20:02, Reply)
that sounds like a great hike
I shall have to take picnics with me when I start going cycling again in the summer. And the brie was on offer, as was the salami I had with it. I have also just consumed two slices of cheesecake and feel a touch unwell..
(, Wed 9 Feb 2011, 20:07, Reply)

What flavour cheesecake?
Glad to hear it went ok.
(, Wed 9 Feb 2011, 20:09, Reply)
banoffee!
7/10 good effort, would probably buy again, although the BAN bit was not nearly as good as the OFFEE.
(, Wed 9 Feb 2011, 20:12, Reply)
It never is -shakes head-
I had the chocolate truffle one I'd been eyeing up in Nero's for ages. Got two spoons and forced some into Charmsie so I wouldn't look like such a pig.
(, Wed 9 Feb 2011, 20:13, Reply)
Are you sitting backwards on the train, or facing the direction of travel?

(, Wed 9 Feb 2011, 20:12, Reply)
backwards unfortunately
I don't like going backyards.
(, Wed 9 Feb 2011, 20:19, Reply)
That'll be why you feel a bit 'urrugh'

(, Wed 9 Feb 2011, 20:20, Reply)
My son's friend is nicknamed brie.
He had a fungal infection under his foreskin and he had runny knobcheese.
