Mind you, I didn't get in until about 8pm after negotiating my way across the North Pennine Dales. Fuck me, those roads are a bastard to traverse in the pitch black whilst being followed by a car with nasty horrible halogen bulbs who may as well be trying to crawl right up my exhaust pipe.

I hate the Halogen bulbs, they hurt my eyes.

Yeah.
A three hour round trip though, for a one hour meeting. Its' OK in the summer, but winter months are a pain for travelling to these things. Especially when you could fall down a ravine if you take a corner a bit quickly.

It's alright in daylight and a very pleasant drive.
But at night there next to no light pollution, so it's very dark and there's often a fair bit of mist... the two don't go well together.
