mate there are cockatoos at my house,
and I fucking hate them in the spring - hundreds of them sit in the trees and squawk for hours.

Sparrows are lovely.
We've got a family (again, I think there's a couple hundred of them - there's a lot of native trees where I live), that feed themselves on the leftover chicken grain.
